Keep drawing sir! I grew up learning to draw by copying all the cartoons in the news paper. My favorite was Bud Neill’s Lobey Dosser. Such talent!

What part of Scotland are you from. I lived and worked around morayfirth area and Grampian region later moved to Shetland islands during my RAF days.
I was mostly exposed to military Cartoonist work. I didn't take it up till a bit later as I had an eye for drawing, I tried cartoons out of a hobby. More you be staying the greater chance you will see more of my dabbles.

Central belt just outside of Glasgow… Moray is a beautiful part of the world… my son did his first solo up there with the Uni air squadron… What was your role in the RAF?

I also spotted your name straight away and connected it to Shetland… now home to the SaxaVord space port!

I was a senior supplier then earning my spurs for the Nimrod first line later stock controller for the various stores. With a hint of helicopter refuelling to boot down the Falklands. It was a lovely station like many here in or about who have a favourite.
Where the space port is used to be Skaw tips. On each side we usually dumping the waste oils or scrapped stock for the radar section until the environmentalists got wind😏
The old accommodation blocks are now holiday and part of the space port living quarters.
If you guys are wondering where I got the bug for cartoons look no further as to there. It was the best adventure living up there and Im proud to be Unst and Falklander adopted son

Welcome to the mad house Spacebrodie, Am not far from you at the moment, in Bo'ness for a family reunion.
Like Saxavordian, ex RAF, but was a radar tech. So I've lived on Benbecula twice, went to school on South Uist ( for a short time) and in Inverness for somewhat longer.
Enjoyed the Falklands having been down there twice.... As a civilian!!! Very like the highlands and islands, but with ferns not heather, still lots of sheep.

Then ran aground in Norfolk not far from here. https://www.radarmuseum.co.uk/ Where I volunteer occasionally.

Thanks all for making me so welome and sharing a wee bit about you... Im not military, but active in supporting the space secor in Scotland. My son is on the other side of the planet launching rockets in New Zealand... very much like scotland too!

The central belt is an urban and city sprawl... Even when i do get the FL2 up and running, i wont be able to take it into Glasgow.

Not a problem as long as you don't stray from the path and secretly browse the EV Evoque section. Remember we have contacts too.
All secret spy's working for landyzone 😁 below.
