Bought my first defender 90 300tdi 3 days ago, and am officially in love! Anyone else from around this area who would be able to give pointers/Greenlane at some point?

Welcome!

I'm fairly local, a village near Callington. But I'm completely useless, no help whatsoever. If you overtake a blue 90 chugging along at 50mph on the A388, make sure you give me a wave as you go by!

I was just out at callington tesco on a little trip, I will keep an eye out. I've never done any offroading but got to start somewhere I suppose!

I've been looking at Bush Farm this evening, its in Hatt by the looks of it. There are a few vid on youtube I've been watching and it looks hella fun. Although going by your picture, your 90 is much more suitable for it than mine xD

I live about 5 minutes from Hatt, I'll check it out! :)

Maybe we could venture down there together and give it a shot if you fancied trying it out?

That would be great. It might be a few weeks before I can manage it. I need new tyres/wheels ASAP, there is the exhaust that has holes in and is rattling about and the waxoyling I did to it was **** :p I'll touch it all up and sort it over the month. But yes, I'd love to head there!

Haha that's okay, no rush! I bought mine pretty much offroad ready luckily. I was just on the Devon & Cornwall section and someone was saying they would take some beginners through some easyish greenlanes and organise a day trip to bush farm. Have you done much offroading before?
 
I've done nothing, complete beginner. I do go through deep puddles after the rain, but I don't think that counts. What about you?
 
I did a days experience about a year ago, but other than that absolutely nothing. Would be good to go with another beginner so I don't feel a complete numpty :D
