Hi all

Currently do not own a Land Rover :( but am looking at getting one shortly. :)

I am based in the Milton Keynes area and once i do have one, would be keen to go out off roading etc!

If anyone knows of anywhere or anyone with a good condition defender for sale, 1980/1990 or has any tips, i would be grateful if you could share.

Have done lots of reading and still have lots to do!

Look forward to chatting!

Jack

Hi jack, im only up the road in bedford. Theres a few defenders for sale on landyzone. Have a look in there. Depends what you spend to what you get. Rust is the main problem but they are always an ongoing project. Hope you find what your looking for. We are out laning or pay and plays most weekends

Hi guys, thanks for the replies

Trouble is, having to check insurance to see what it would be, currently 18 and would have the landie as a second car.

Annoying thing is, dad on his own would be £90 to insure P/A. Me with him as named driver - £1000.00 haha

I shall find a way!

Ill also have a look at the 90 in the for sale. Thanks :)

Get it on a classic policy...if you can get one at 18?? Lancaster or footman james. If i were you id buy a little golf/fiesta etc and insure that as main vehicle with the landy as 2nd....may work out cheaper than just landy insurance. Good luck!

And ps! V8z are half the price to insure of a 200/300 and same as a td5 defender from my insurance quotes
