Names Ben, I'm recently back to Land Rover ownership, I live just outside Cleckheaton.
My new baby is a Q plated 1974 SIII 88".
Mods include:
Modified 90 chassis,
90 axles (with disks)
90 gearbox on the 2 1/4 diesel engine
Mods planned:
Servo for brakes,
Power Steering,
Forward facing seats for the back (suggestions for doing this on a budget welcome)
Work done so far:
All new lights (thanks to Bolt on bits being near my kids school)
Rewiring of lights (looked like a drunk monkey had been at the wires)
Brakes bled and checked (gone from no brakes to slightly terrifying lack of brakes)
All for the MOT.
Here's a random pic of her on my drive at night (I'm a photographer when I'm not being a community development worker for a homeless charity, so expect pictures!)
