Hi All,

Finally registered after a couple of months viewing as a guest. Got to say I'm impressed with the knowledge that some of you guys and girls have on anything landy related .

My landrover history is varied: 110 Hi cap, series 2a, Defender 90, 04 Freelander HSE Auto and now I've got a 2001 Disco TD5 (to fit the kids and dogs in) which has currently got a few problems. I've owned it for 6 months, its got 100k on the clock, cosmetically its fantastic but since having it one rear air bag has exploded, the front N/S door won't open, starter motor is packing up and today to top it all it dumped all its ACE fluid on the drive way, resulting in a red warning light and annoying boing boing chime (don't panic, I read the manual and it hasn't moved an inch). Going to get under it tomorrow to investigate fully, the fluid is coming from the back end of the vehicle so I'm hoping it's just a pipe or union which is to blame. After researching a bit about ACE on here I'd probably go down the removal route if things got too expensive to repair!

Well thats my Landy history up to date, I'll keep you informed on my progress.

Jules

Thought as much its the pipes running from the block on the drivers side to the actuator on the rear suspension, have removed the couplings but can't get the clamps undone that hold the pipes in place, probably going to have to do some butchery!!!
