Hello. I'm Matt from Glastonbury. I have just bought myself a 'D' reg 90 with a 200 Tdi conversion. The underneath seems pretty solid but I'm awaiting a steam clean and wax oil. The body work is pretty bad and could do with tidying. My plan is to unbolt the body panels inc tub and cab and have them shot blasted ready for me to paint. Remove the front bulbar. Replace window seals and sort any rust I find on the chassis. Replace tyres and add a snorkel, steering guard, winch and bumper. Then hopefully bring on a lot of happy motoring. Any information or advice will be greatly received as this is my first Land rover.
Also if any of you guys or girls fancy following some of the fundraising my friends and I undertake that involves a massive motorcycle ride out and family fun day please check out Rits Day
Thanks.

Welcome to the Loon zone. I wouldn't advise "shotblasting the Body" as it's rather soft Ally and you'll ruin it. Try soda blasting or just plain paint stripper.

Listen to Pikey
Shotblasting the body could rapidly result in you having a chassis to drive - not a lot else, just a chassis.
