Hello everybody my name is Alan and I live in Cornwall.
I am new to this site but not to Landrovers as I once renovated a series 3 109, which I then sold !!!!
Off to look at a 300tdi tomorrow not expecting to much for the price but hope its worth the journey.
Will let you know how it goes.
 
You cant beat a pint of Tribute and as I have a friend who works in sales at St Austell brewery I get it for £1.00 pint !!!

Well in that case, you are very welcome here.. :) Tis my favourite pint, but you will prolly hear from someone who hates the stuff soon..

Hi hawky 666 see your a bit of a shooting man & have an interest in Falconry.
I too go shooting, clays every other weekend and I beat on a local shoot.
Used to do vermin control with an airrifle but have just sold it to purchase the 300tdi.
Nearly brought a Harris Hawk this year but just couldnt justify the time have to settle with flying a mates Goshawk.
Trying to find some rough shooting at the moment.

A sucessful trip over the border into Devon.
Picked up a 1995 Disco300tdi for £1000. 7 months MOT, 2 months Tax and 152k miles . Appears to be very solid and everything works as I should.
A little bit rough around the edges particularly inside but all cosmetic. Bit of a different driving experience to the Audi TT that the other half drives !!!!
I shall probably be asking loads of questions as I embark on my Landy ownership so please bare with me :)

St austell brewery beer is the sputum of satan himself but welcome anyway! ****ing orrible stuff. I wouldn't run the landy on high speed diesel!

Good luck with the noo motor though!

I just bought me anothe case of tribute. Satan makes a superb brew :p
