Hi
I'm Morag and live in the outskirts of Aberdeen, on the road to Banchory, and own a Y reg Defender, which sadly I am selling!
I've had an Range Rover and Discovery in my time but they both went as I got fed up with the electric's!
Both my hubbie and I have always fancied a Defender and have loved every minute driving the one we have but due to a bad year health wise (We are both self employed) it has to go:mad:
However as soon as possible we will get another one!;)
I'm an only child, a Daddies girl! My Dad taught me how to look after a car and I am forever grateful to him as my husband has no interest in them at all!
I am often to be found on a nice day washing and polishing my car. In fact I sometimes have a competition with the young lads next door to see who can have the shiniest car!
I've never done any off roading but would love too one day. The closet I have got is sliding about in the snow at the Forest where I take my dogs for a walk!
Thats about it! :-}

I passed through your area earlier this evening... if I had known, would have stopped for coffee!!! :D

welcome to Landyzone and good luck with selling yer vehicle.:)

Evening Ratty...HNY to ya. They keeping you busy down there?

Hiya Mate. HNY to you too.:)

We've been pretty much flat out down here since the bad weather came in on the 23rd dec. We were still pulling vehicles out of the floods on xmas day.:( Yesterday brought the river levels back up and the roads back under water. I spent yesterday afternoon retrieving vehicles out of 2 foot of water. Today was our first 'Quiet' day and I still managed to get 10 jobs in. It's been the only day since the 23rd that I've actually managed to keep up with the jobs rather than get snowed under.

I am on a day off tomorrow........ alledgedly.;):D

How's it been for you?

Well.... you know... between the way they build them... and the way they drive them... we don't go short of work. :D
This weather is a great leveler - get far more BMW's, Audis, Rangies etc. at this time of year. Just waiting for winter to arrive and will be quids in!
All I can say is thank God for the 100km rule

Oh don't say that! I'm about 10 miles North and just started off in Landy ownership with a '99 Disco! Mind you, electrics is probably the thing I can manage at the moment...

Welcome to LandyZone! Hope you get back to having one soon, must be a wrench to have to sell!
