Hi Gemsdad. Take the Huff!! LOL:):D

It would take more than the rantings of a Defender owner to give me the huff.:D

I appreciate your concern but I am no way miffed. You are right 27 years has given me extremely thick skin.

I am merely arguing the point to destruction and hopefully the the defender of the Defenders will get bored and he will, then he will go away!

So actually I am having a lot of fun.

Have fun

Is that so you can dig yerself in deeper when you get stuck?:p

or is it so when you get towed home the tyre howl makes it sound like yer engines still running?:D:D:D

Don't know of any at the moment but if I hear of any I'll let you know. You might have to fight MHM fo em mind cos he's after summit along those lines for his U boat.;)

Hi 2CXM

I have been to the South of France twice in my LPG P38. Cheap as chips too. LPG is cheaper if you get off the motorways. South of Ppain was a problem for LPG! Apparently there are only 27 LPG stations in the whole of Spain!! It cost me a fortune in petrol.

Have fun

Hi Bison
This was my second trip, as far as Perpignan, and a bit further than the first. The weather was hot 34C and the rangy pulled well especially on the climb from the coastal plain up onto the Massif Central so as to see the Millau [sky] bridge What a feat of engineering.
Thanks for the information about LPG in Spain as I was thinking of driving to Vigo will most likely fly instead.
