Good Morning from the US.

British Expat living here in Baltimore, MD region for the past 15 years. brought my 109 2.25D SW and 110 2.5NA SW with me when i moved over. Both still RHD, which can confuse the locals!

Been around landies for much of my life (learned to drive on one). But can always use some extra experience.

Thought I should add a picture of Libby (the Landy) - the 109SW.

.Originally marine Blue, but I had it painted bronze green a few years ago, as it was fading. I had it painted because I suck at painting! And yes, I know the galvanized capping has been painted. Yes, I know it is not a Defender. To be honest, the galvanizing was not in great shape and the paint shop just painted it, as it was easier (and is now probably better protected). At some point, I may go back and paint the capping strips with zinc galvanizing paint, but its not a priority right now.

RHD 2.25D. Frightens the heck out of the locals! Is a bit of an ongoing rolling restoration (but then what Series Landy isn't?)

Cheers,

PM

That's a good looking example, very nice.
Visited Baltimore once, went to Camden Yards, Orioles v Red Sox..

Thanks
Having lived in Boston when I first came over, then having moved downhere, I'm not sure who I would have rooted for. Red Sox? or Orioles? Probably neither!!
She's a little rougher on the inside, as it does get used for farm chores (20 bags of horse dung anyone?). Will gradually bring it up to snuff, but i don't want a museum queen, just safe, reliable and not falling to bits!

Didn't Babe Ruth play for both teams?

Nothing better than a Land Rover being used as it should be used....
Welcome to the forum!

To be honest, I have no idea. I would have to check. Sport doesen't feature heavily in my life I'm afraid..........

Nice looking motor. I ran a 2a 109SW for years, and used it on farm and forestry work, very useful.

I wouldn't worry too much about the cosmetic details, at least is hasn't been horribly cut around with lifts and huge wheels. And very few in the US will have any idea what to look for in any case.

Yup, pretty original. Original Chassis (slightly patched, but done well), engine and body work (foot wels renewed). Just a standard Landy that hasn't been messed with. It will get a couple of minor upgrades (LED tail / brake / marker lights, for safety at night, as well as protecting the un-fused circuits. Other than that, it will stay as is.
