Hi everyone

Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello.

I picked up my first Land Rover yesterday, a 1997 Defender 110 CSW in Epsom green. It needs some TLC, but seems solid so far (it got did the 80 mile trip home anyway!).

Looking forward to many years of happy Land Rover owning (and hoping nothing too expensive breaks just yet!).

That's what I'm worried about! I think my Green Flag renewal premium may be going up next year.

After a few short trips in it today, I can honestly say... I LOVE IT!

Nice motor, glad you're loving it, but errr... where are the dents?!! I've never seen a landy with such straight panels!!

Thanks guys

Don't worry, it has stacks of dents! Every single panel is covered in loads of little 'uns and it has a couple of bigger ones too (front NS wing and rear OS panel over the arch).

The pictures (and probably the colour) help to disguise the dents really well.

I was thinking that I'd spend some money getting them sorted, but I'm starting to think that it gives it character.

Nah, leave em. My missus is convinced that on the defender production line the last stage is some bloke stood there with a mallet smacking the wings.

ye land rovers and dents there like brothers ohhh and refit the wipac spot light guards (if you have them) tidy motor though mate

Wow, that's a REALLY nice looking 110. I'm going to be respraying my 110 in the summer, that's got me thinking seriously about Epsom green. Looks great.
