I'm an older bird who should know better. I bought my Defender 90 several years ago after dreaming of one for many years - couldn't quite manage the E-Type Jag I always lusted after. Just as well because that wouldn't have looked so clever up to it's axel in the muddy ruts in my little woodland. My Landy boy does very well in his Cooper all-mud set up. Trouble is, his rear cross-member is shot. I'm looking for advice, costs, inc labour, anyone recommended in Warwick area. Thanks.

Thanks, Shimsteriom. So true, my relatives are very old. Me? I don't really care, it's only brought me some wisdom and much idiotcy!

Don't you mean Idiocy :p
Err, yes I do, (hangs head in shame). I don't want my Landy boy to feel such public shame, so I won't show his horrible underside, just a coy view of him in his natural habitat. IMG_3625.JPG

He's a shy boy, not one to flaunt his inherent aesthetic beauty (plus character enhancing chips, dings, rusty bits). Are you a Defender defender Shimstereriom?

I'm just joshing Shimsteriom. I'm sure you love your Disco, (there's a LandRover quality which inspires loyalty to their vehicles). Thank you for your warm, humerous welcome to 'Loonyzone'. I will go to some appropriate forums when I get the hang of this forum thing. See you 'round!

Ha ha, yes, I can certainly comply with that with a big steaming compo heap of comments, no problem. Thanks for welcome.
