Hi, I thought I would say hi to all you Poms in the Mother country. I escaped to Australia forty years ago this December.
I had a series one just before I emigrated, It was a ton of fun but leaked more petrol than it drank, which was saying something!
Two days ago I had a weak moment and bought a BRG. disco 2 TD5. It is a 1999 model and is in really nice condition.
Tonight it is dead! Battery is full turn key,..Just get a click down low. Click and nothing. Any ideas?
Sorry to dive in with my first post at the intro but I have only had the thing for two days as I said earlier.
A bit more about me. I was born and lived in Essex near Colchester.
Was in the Royal Navy.
Moved to Queensland in 1972 and spent my working life in the marine industry(running marinas delivering boats , that sort of thing. I retired this year

:welcome2: to the asylum buddy ... before you go any further are you still a POM when it comes to cricket or are you now an Aussie? ... if it's the latter then fook orff and sort ya Disco out yaself :D:D

Thanks for all your help folks.
Turned out to be as simple as a loose positive wire onto the started . Fine now just come back from a seven hundred km. run, no probs now ,
Starting to really enjoy this forum. full of knowledge.

Re the cricket, all I can say is, judging by how the Sarth Eferkarns flogged us a few weeks ago;I think your lot have a fair chance this year!
