Hi everybody, I'm Mark, been in the RAF for the past 16 years, but recently been made redundant. However, just found out I've been accepted into the New Zealand Air Force, so I'll be heading out there in Jan.
As I've spent so long in the military I'm used to Landys, so when I wrote my Evo off last year I went out and bought my first one, a 1986 110 csw, but have since got rid of that one (too much work required) and bought myself an 02 plate Defender 110 Td5, which just needs some tidying up (as it's done 145k miles) before it goes to the other side of the planet with me!

Could do a bit of it.

Met folk in Mozambique years ago who were taking their 110 overland to SA then having it shipped to Oz.

Christ knows how much that cost.

WELCOME!

Will you be doing the same job in the NZ air force? Namely making the bits which go bang safe enough for the pilots to play with?? :D

Thought it was mine - I'll definitely be waxoyling it beforehand, but maybe giving it a good coat of oil too will be a good idea, will just spraying it all over with wd40 have the same effect?
Difflock66 - yes, same job thankfully, it's all I've ever known!
