The car is currently in storage as I have had it for 18 months and not had much use as I have 2 other cars .

Interesting, I saw a post many moons ago about someone wanting to use fibreglass doors and the weight saving, the final post was saying over 40 the doors would bow out as fibreglass wasn't strong enough. But I guess original frames would support that.

Would be interesting to know what the weight saving is, if any, do you know what the average thickness of the panels are.

On a more paranoid note, and knowing how many are getting stolen at the present.. I would make the suggestion that having what looks like your address in the photo is a little risky.

Thanks for the advise bud I have changed it now I don't keep the car there anyway it's in a lock up but appreciate the advise you don't even think of this when you post the car is light as solid panels don't get damaged my mate has the same but with original panels I leave him sitting I know the guy I bought it off spent £9000 restoration I am thinking about selling it but don't know what I have as the conversion alone with the spray job is about £8000 don't know what you think .Just flew through a mot with no adversary's .
