I'm thinking of buying a Range Rover sport 2.7 it's got a136k on clock will it be good for another 100k

Depends on how long it'll take you to do 100k and how much money you're happy to throw at it along the way

L322's are notorious for being expensive to run, repair and maintain.

You pays your money, you takes your chances....

It's the L320 and all the above answers still stand. Got to be amongst the top 5 of siliest questions asked on here and even some of mine don't make that list.
@Bazover No-one, repeat no-one knows the answer to that question. There are a myriad of things that could go wrong,at any time, same as any vehicle.The fact is, it will cost you more to repair than the 'average' car. If you want it buy it. If you want it and expect to never have a problem, and get a guarantee of how many more miles it will last,then a car of any type can't reach those expectations.

Need a thick skin on here mate don't take it personally.

If you're worried about reliability you don't need a Range Rover mate, that's the overall view to take.

Ha ha I really just wanted to reassure my self really if they was reliable really I've just sold my rangerover overfinch but that was petrol never had a diesel before

Sorry matey, but with that revelation you have just confirmed it was a silly question.You must know what the Green Oval is like,you already know there is no answer to 'will it last another 100k'? The L320 is no more or less relaible than any other Land/Range Rover. It just has it's own foibles

The point I was trying to make was is the Diesel engine as reliable as my old rangerover petrol engine as I have never had a diesel maybe I should of put it in a better context

If I’m not mistaken 2.7 diesel fitted is the same as used in Discovery 3, generally reliable lump, just needs belts doing on time and the uprated oil pump fitting at the same time as belts. You’ll get many electrical niggles and probably a few air suspension issues but if you purchase a diagnostic then it’s ok.
Hand brake can be a bit tricky

I think it's a bit of a shame most of these replies are sarcastic and unhelpful. When I was considering buying my 300 tdi defender, I was put off by the high mileage. But after a bit of research about them, and the fact it was well cared for I took the plunge. It's now done over 250k with no major repairs, which is common for this engine. On the other end of the scale you have engines like the first freelander petrol engines ! Give the guy a break.

All I wanted was a bit of advice on if Diesel engine was any good as I didn't no much about them having never owned one what may be a stupid question for most of you it wasn't for me out of all the replies I got one that was off any help and that was off a guy from Blackpool you need to remember not all people are well up on there Land Rover that's why we ask so called stupid questions
