Hi LandyZone,

New here and with my new Disco 1 v8 3.5, needs some tidying but what disco don't.

Looking and seaching around, and some wise people here.

Thankyou and see you around.

Thankyou all, just looking into how to make it breath better and look after it.

Oh and keith, where are you?

Couch's Mill. Yours isn't the suspiciously clean silver 90 that's always parked in the Quay St car park, is it? Or the lovely old S3 that I sometimes see driving around?

No - the one on Quay street is an old duffer who's out polishing it all the time. If you start at it he will appear within 30 seconds! Have you seen the S1 that the guy on the Industrial Estate drives - it's true class!!! (His mrs used to work up at the school but i think she's left).

Oh and i int fat and i int er pooftah!

Truro man'er wasson? Maybe we should start a Kernow Zone in the forum? ...face it they foreigners won't be able to understand us anyway...maybe a google translate app up-grade needed?

:welcome: from another Cornwall Landyzone relative Newbie :D

Oh, and Dave - we're not far from Helston so we might see you on the road sometime....... though every 5th vehicle seems to be a Landy of some sort down this end of the country!

Our Landy is in permanent diff lock at the mo cos the front propshaft decided it had had enough outside Porthtowan on Sat

That's true, but I've started to get the knack of knowing which ones to wave to - ie enthusiasts not farmers. Farmers will just give you a funny look. If it's got an Ifor Williams back on it and a sheep in the passenger seat, it's probably a farm vehicle. If it's got a snorkel, lifts, two 8-foot whip aerials, a Superwinch, and mud on the roof, you might get a wave back.
