hello to all you good folk, i have recently joined your ranks and must say how impressed i am with this site :D I have already taken onboard a lot of the advice that has been given to other members.:D
I am about to tackle a small job, recently I have noticed a clunking noise coming from the back of my 110 especially when turning left or on uneven roads. I think I may have narrowed it down to a knackered ball joint on the anti-roll bar:eek: Is this a simple job to replace or are there any pitfalls to look out for.

Welcome to the forum.

You may be right about the ball joint on the anti roll bar. They make a hideous amount of noise for the travel they have when they're worn out.

Its quite an easy job to change one, its usualy pretty easy to spot the worn out one too.

Thanks for that Stodd I`ll tackle it as soon as, I found it only really clatters when its fully loaded i.e dog, kids, wife, good excuse for a jaunt.

You sure it's not the exhaust rattling on summink.
At first I thought it was a rattly exhaust but its rock solid. If changing the ball joint dont work christ knows what to do,short of strapping myself to the chassis and letting the missus drive over some speed bumps:eek: . [sounds like i just invented a new extreme sport]

you were right about it being an easy job. But i'm not sure if its cured the clunking yet, took the kids to school and i could have sworn i heard a clunk, maybe i'm getting paranoid. i'll give it a blast at the weekend.
