Irish/Rover

Last drove a Land Rover in 1989! but first drove one when you could buy a 2A new! That more or less gives you my age group and more or less is all you'll get.

Just bought a 1984 Series III and have to learn all over again. I guess I'll be back here often asking questions of you more experienced guys.

Old dog - new tricks and all that.

all the best

£3250 . . .It's straight, solid and tidy enough to go out and enjoy straight away. That's not to say I shan't find a few jobs to do on it. A man has to have something to tinker with.

HOW MUCH !!!!!!!!!!

Mine is taxed/moted and has the best bodywork i've ever seen on a series, it's got a new turners head, kenlowe fan and hotstart, no advisories on last MOT, very orginal - and i wasnt expecting (based on what they have been going for on ebay and in the mags) to get much more than £1500 for it

i may now rethink my pricing structure

I saw a nice S3 Safari 2.5 petrol on ebay last week full mot new chassis & Bulkhead repaired. went for £850

for £3250 he must have got a right minter, and a 10 year petrol card with it

maybe he meant £325

Price recouped is directly linked to the following mathamatical formulae
£££= stupidity of the buyer, multiplied by time listed for sale.

If you sell it on the first day to an intelligent man you'll get peanuts for it, but if you wait long enough you'll find a moron who'll pay 3 times what it's worth.
