Hello,

All.

I recently bought a Discovery 2, 2000 year. it cost me £750 so you can imagine my disgust when I ended up with the 3 Amigos ABS issue, after reading forums and trying with all my current fault code readers to no avail

I was disgusted to find out that I had to go to a dealer or splash out around 400 on an expensive code reader to put out the light.

this pushed me to use an old vagcom cable and a laptop to resolve the issue.

I am now pleased to say that I have wrote a program to reset the 3 Amigos, and clear the DTC's and am contemplating releasing all my findings (Open Source) into the public domain I am however concerned over any backlash there may be.

Thoughts ?

Wish I paid £750 for mine.

My garage plugs in the fault reader for nothing for me, but then I do have to pay them to fix any fault...

Hi.. Phew sounds like youve been busy lol. There is a section dedicated to everything Discovery so maybe repost this there and more people will get to hear what youve got to say.
