Hi

Just thought I would drop in and say hello, being new to the site and all that!
I am currently in the process of looking for a project car (90 defender), whereby I stumbled upon this site whilst reading up on them.

Reading through some of the threads on here, it has become apparent, that they seem to be stolen quite often, so am I buying into something that is going to give me a headache?

I know that there is nothing 100% certain to stop thieves, but what do you guys/gals do to prevent it?

Another question, what are they like to insure (regarding stipulations imposed by Insurance companies) - following on from the popularity of them being uplifted?
