Hi,thought I'd join here 'cos I've just acquired a '96 V8 Disco so I suppose I may be needing some advice at some point 
...the car was cheap enough,it only has 72k on it (verified by old MOTs) and up to now the only issue has been the usual seized transfer box selector which I've sorted with a lot of swearing and lube..no doubt more stuff will rear it's ugly head but in the meantime I'll just enjoy driving it..
