Hello everyone, about time I actually joined as I have been reading here for a while!

The main reason I joined... I recently just bought a 1993 Discovery 1 200tdi which I thought I had got cheap but since I have replaced quite a few bits and bobs and done loads of unexpected work, that is no longer the case! Anyway great site, it has helped me loads so far with my Discovery.

I also have a 1969 swb S2A petrol which I have owned for nearly 20 years and converted to a V8 (and power steering)! about 6 years ago when rebuilding it so will no doubt between the two be using the site more.

Not a problem to take the pics on my phone and bluetooth to laptop but I have never posted a picture. Is there a thread on that type of thing or could you explain? Thanks.

Oh I forgot to mention my location is sunny Glasgow.

I have more photos and I have a photobucket account. I tried posting a photo in the V8 engine thread and it looked like it just posted a link. What am I doing wrong?

When you look at your pics on photobucket you'll see a box at the right that says "Links to share this Photo" then below that "Direct" & "IMG"

Click the word "IMG" and then come in here and right click and select "paste"

You'll get this happen if you've done it right...

Only took me nearly 2 years to post photos!
Currently undergoing MOT work after getting a replacement engine. Has been in that lock up for 5 years now so looking forward to cleaning it up and getting it back on the road.
