Hi Members.
I have just migrated from running a Rover 75 Tourer with the BMW 2.0 diesel engine to the Landrover Freelander1 Td4 HSE which I believe are the same engine, this will be my first ever landrover I am hoping to learn as much as possible and share what I know about the engine.

I will be picking up my freelander some time this month, once received I will add a photo cheers Arctic2 ;)

Welcome.

The engine block is the same...... But the turbo and many ancillaries are different.

Hi Thank you for the welcome I am sure I will be asking some questions very soon once I have the Freelander in my hands later this week.

And even more once I have the manifold & EGR off to give them a good clean, along with a new MAF & MAP sensor which i like to replace cheers Arctic2

I finally took charge of my FL 1 on the 16th October 2014.

As I have said in my initial introduction I have migrated from owning a Rover 75 Tourer SE which was also diesel and blue :) pic below.
