Hi, I just registered today and thought I would say hello. I look forward to reading the many posts here and hopefull ygetting a bit of advice about my current project. I am having to rebuild the 3.5 EFi engine out of my Range Rover as it one morning it wouldnt start and the garage said it had lost all compression and then proceeded to quote me somewhere in the regoin of £900 to replace the cylinder head gaskets!!!!:(

Yep the engine is in bits completely now, I am working on the cleaning (and the sourcing of new parts - such a choice)

BTW I sent you a photo of the stripped block, didnt you get it?

Ah that'll be why me Phones going beep beep then :rolleyes: I realy should look at the thing from time to time.
