Just saying hello again. After suffering a brain tumour a couple of years ago and having an op(awake)etc,i finally got my car licence back about 6 months ago.Now i'm looking for a 4x4 to buy as i've always wanted one to get into offroading etc.As i've always wanted something from the Landy stable its now a decision of which one.I want to spend around 3.5k and then sort it out for some fun offroading.
Looking at the 300tdi or TD5 Disco or a P38 diesel.Any advice would be welcome on which engine is the best, parts prices/availibilty or which would be better as an allround offroader/daily hack, cheers Gary

:welcome2:to the Land of Crazy people and also well done for conquering something that must have been so frightening. After getting through that I'm sure any off-road obstacle will be simple ... but ... only if you use a Defender! Honestly, it is the only way forward and the most enjoyable off road vehicle you will get. IMO ;)

no offence, it can't have been very serious, you'd have posting about wanting a FL else

Well you'll need to open it further still if you're thinking about a P38 ... not to buy one but to pay for all the repair bills afterwards :p

FL? It was very serious and its growing back, so got to have another op again, but if you don't carry on as normal you might as well give in.But no offense taken as i'm sure you know nothing about awake crainotomys first hand.
