Has anyone used non LR height sensors? I done mine a couple of years ago with genuine ones and they are now buggered. Mounting point on the radius arms are burst. My point is if the genuine ones only last this long, am I as well fitting after market ones if they last about the same time?

Mine are still original 2002 with the car from new.
What are you doing to them? You don't keep washing it do you?!

I ordered one from JGS , IIRC only about 23 quid, worked fine.

Not sure how much LR originals are tho.

Got to wonder what you are doing with it to wreck them? but at least you are breaking something that is relatively cheap and easy to change, LOL

I replaced one of mine on my P38 with a Britpart sensor about 5 years ago and never had any issues, although I think the D2 sensors are shared with the L322 and not the P38.

I keep the car, including the underside as clean as possible. I think in this case it's the copper grease I used on the mounts reacting with something. Strange as its a metal sleeve that the bolt goes through and not aluminium.
