As the title says i have a bad vibration under braking, its not the discor pads i have check those and the wheel were all recently balanced, also cahnged a track rod end ball joint as that was bad worn and made no real difference, where else to check?

1.have you been in deep mud since?
2.how did u check the discs, if only visually its not enough.

No deep mud for a while and its all clean under neath, and checked by takign off the wheels and spinnign freely looked for uneven wear on brake pads as well.

Same vibration happened to me.....nothing showed on eye check(i refer to front brake discs only), after i've refurbished them the vibration totally dissapeard.... the thickness of a new one is 26mm, check yours....... if they still have enough "flesh" on them they can be refurbished with a lathe......or it's time for replacement. (i just measured a new one with a slide rule cos i have it prepaired for the moment when my refurbished ones are starting to do it again)......they are quite cheap but the delivery price is killing me that's why firstly i refurbished them instead of replacing them

Thanks i'll get a new set ordered and change them over and see if that does the trick

I'm going through the same at the moment. Bad vibration under under braking especially at speed, which can be felt through the brake pedal. I had this last year but it was sorted after I changed the front disc. This time the first thing I did was to change the back disc....still the same. Changed swivel bearings, checked regreased & re-torqued hub bearings...no change. New pads all round (getting desperate now) & it's still the same. I've even got my DTI out the make sure my front disc had'nt warped in the year but they're spot on.
It's the fact that you're actually getting feedback coming up through the brake pedal that makes me think it's brake related...but i've run out of bits to change on them now.
I'll keep a keen eye on this thread!

Thats like mine through the breake pedall and vibration on the steering wheel and worse at higher speeds.

Just had mine sorted. Steering wheel vibration - front brakes, brake pedal vibration - rear brakes apparently.
