Hi,

I have just replaced my rear bumper with a tubular steel one, this making the rear bumper lights redundant... Thus making the indicators flash at fast rate as if there is a bulb gone. Is there a way of simply bridging the wires to stop this?

A mate did this and just left the bulbs in the wiring, but inside, hidden down the rear pillar behind the normal lights!

If the ones in the rear light clusters are working, I'm surprised it still speeds up the indicator flashing with the bumper ones removed.

Yer all the other indicators are working. I was thinking I'm just gonna hide the wires up in there. Cheers :)

Hi did same just hid out of way when changed upper lights so only have indicators in bumper, two years ago & no problems.

Mine did this too, you'll find the bulbs wont last long if they're tucked up out the way and your crashing and banging about in mud and water - get on ebay and get some load resistors!

Can you post a link to these tubular bumpers? my original has had it and I am looking at various replacements, ; ta
