Does anyone know anything about heating on a series 111, i can't seem to get mine to blow any hot air, have checked all the pipes for blockages and they were ok, don't really know what else to check, any help would be great before it gets to cold.

Can you hear the Fan blower working?

there are 2 parts to the heating system. the heater matrix and the blower.
is one working and not the other? and which one? if any.

The fan is blowing ok, just cold air coming out.

are you losing any water?

try flushing the matrix out first. then check the stat is not stuck open. next is the water pump.
last of all is maybe the engine is just not getting hot enough. try the silver foil trick.

Not losing any water and the engine temp runs in the middle of the gauge, i will try these and hopefully i might get some warm air.

Also check the valve that is operated by the hearter control is not siezed, and is operating (check the control cable isn't just slipping). If all else fails you might need to check the theromstat as if it is not opening you'll not get hot water to the matrix.
