Hi can any one tell me why I cant find a replacement heater resistor pack to fit my 2000 td5 it is a block of what looks like ceramic on the inside and I cant see how to fix it ?? I wanted to upload a pic but the site wont let me ?

Hi, i can't tell you why you cant find one cos it took less than 1 minute to me to find it if that's really what you need, google out STC3133 which would be good only if you have the manual heater control like the D1 not the digital one.

only if the system is with the digital aircon unit not the manual one the manual one has the resistor pack like the late D1s

There is a fix on D2BC for this, just to replace the transistor thing.

Not valid for this one cos as i said earlyer here it's not about the power transistor but about a resistor pack which is a sealed unit, i dont see any way to fix that

Seems that i insist in vain here, that one in the picture is not a resistor pack, it's a power transistor fitted to those with DIGITAL AIRCON UNIT, in this thread it's about the RESISTOR PACK fitted to the earlly models STC3133(see first two posts), this one
