As above follow the link its very helpful. I got away with not removing much just cutting the frame as had been in previous to do blend motor. Found the matrix I bought slid straight in without any chopping around. I did take photos but for the life of me can't find them

That's just navigation. It still needs some lubricant to get it in.

The smell is for nighttime manoeuvres.
