As title, my heater fan fuses in the engine bay are getting a little too hot and melting. Could this due to a faulty resistor pack?
I haven't yet checked my earths.

Not the resistor pack.
Do you mean the 3 little fuses that the TD4 has for the PCT heater?

usually if fuses start to get hot then there is a problem some where best to check all the wires out .

Thanks for the replies, yes Nodge it's the three. Sorry but what is the PCT heater?
I will go round the car today with my metre and see if I find anything.
Just one of those little annoying problems I want to fix.

PCT is Positive Temperature Coefficient heater. Basically it's an electric auxiliary heater element. If the fuses are melting, I would think that the electric heater is on all the time. Iirc it's supposed to be thermostatically controlled.
