Hi guys, is there any way around to replace the heater core without removing the whole dashboard?

Both RAVE and Haynes say that you need to take out the fascia but others seem to have found a way around that. There's a good write up here -

Thanks for that, seing the tutorial and as i removed the whole dash on a scrapped D2 long time ago seems quite the same struggle, my concern is not with the removal but with refitting it perfectly
