Fitting a new matrix has certainly improved my heating, as it had been totally bypassed. lol. Fitted new seals and almost got warm going to work. I just console myself with the phrase...it's a Land Rover! Still the heated windscreen in the Disco is bloody handy.

Yes, I miss the heated screen in my old Disco 1 - in the end, the heating element wires in the glass were the only metal bits that hadn't rusted away!

Heated screens are great, had one in my 90 for about 12-years now (well I say one but whenever too many elements get broken I get it replaced) and wouldn't be without it.
Means that regardless of the weather (ice, snow, heavy misting rain etc) I can leave the heater blowing on my legs & side-vents rather than split between my legs and the screen.
