afternoon all,
the fan on my heater in my 4.0 bordeaux is constantly blowing at max revs as soon as i switch the engine on, does any one know what the cause and easiest fix could be, ive checked all the fuses and all seem to be ok.

once again the p38 gremlins are out to play.

Is the HEVAC set at "Manual" (Motor speed bar graph showing), or "Auto" ?

it may be ur hveac control unit

sorry for delays

the unit is set at manual, but turning the knob makes no difference it just blows on full power

Looks like the HEVAC panel is playing up. Had a similar problem a few years ago...needed a new unit. Part no. JFC102550, £501.48 incl.VAT from Rimmers. That's for the P38 with aircon & heated front seats.

The last one I bought was around £250 brand new, looks like the price has rocketed !!!

Best bet is to try a Breakers. Guys on here swear by Joe in Colne, Lancs. Tel 07785 240021
