Hi All,

I’m in Chamonix at the mo and my heater blower is not that hot and the blower is weak.

Anyone have an idea what it is?

It was -17C the other day so would be useful to have it nice and toasty.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick,
Nice photo! Is it the same when the engines up to temp? If I have mine on Auto the fans speed seems to be slower until it's fully warmed up.

Hi Griff,

Cheers, lots of fun in the snow :)

Yeah is the same when fully warmed also. Not sure what it is!

I'm not very good with electrickery, hopefully someone will be along soon. Could it be mechanical - I'm thinking something inside the fan stopping it spinning properly, although this usually is accompanied by a noise. Mine did when I had some of the bulkhead filter foam in it!

It’s weird, it was blowing old air out at speed the other day but hot air like a mouses fart. It has a mind of its own? Maybe the temp gauge?

what happens if set the blower to maximum speed? is it responding to the setting or the speed is constant no matter what you do?

Is the motor spinning fast and little air coming out or is the motor just slow?
