I was looking online and saw a video that suggested that if you remove the control plate for the electric windows then you would find two plugs which when connected to suitable heater switches would heat up the seats. Can anyone tell me is this is true or do you still need to purchase heater matrices? i am hoping it will be easy. I have a TD5 ES model with leather manual seats.

Hi mate
Just have a look under your seat and see if there is two plugs coming out. I know mine only has one and thats for the SRS, But i also have a 2nd one but its not plugged into anything.

Should be all there, connected and working on a ES model.

Cheerd cool, I will give it a try.

I've had a brief look under the seat. Do I need to connec things up?

Behind the control plate for the electric windows there are the connectors for the heated seat switches but you need to have the actual switches as well, there will be 7 on the panel. Do you have the relays, heating elements etc in and under the seats?
