Anyone out there attempted to repair the drivers heated seat element? I know there is a guide to P38 but haven't seen one for the L322. L/R stealer wants near enough 1000 notes to replace the foam squabs and elements. Assuming the fitment is much the same as P38 and quality obviously much the same as well as vehicle only October 2007 Vogue SE. It never ceases to amaze me how poor quality some L/R stuff is. I also have the dreaded 2A random battery draw with the morning after won't start syndrome.
My old KIA Sorento still has heated seats and everything else worked too first time!!!, and it is now well into 6 figures.

That is crap. Even my old Vectra's heated seats still worked perfectly and that had a HUGE mileage on it. '98 too.

Unforunately good design seems to be scuppered by penny pinching accountants these days.

I have seen just lately on eblag loads of heated seats for sale, the whole things or the back or just the seat bottom, all new for much much less than you was quoted, and they had the heater element in them air bag ect, have a look if you cant fine them I will have a look now and find some for you

Achieved new L/R heated seat pad on Ebay so now just need weekend of dry weather to take the seat out. If all goes well will photo as I go and write up.
