Disco 2 face lift headlights .can anyone tell me is this ok.or not.put on sidelights low beam then when you put high beam low beam goes off.then back on whenbback to low beam.

A facelift D2? When I flick main beam on the dip stays on as well.
I think it depends on the wiring

I can't be sure, but I think that the dipped headlights on the facelift D2 staying on while the main beams are active is something to do with them being essentially separate lights, unlike the combined lights of the earlier models. The dipped headlight being the legal requirement, not the main beams.
