ones with the same headlights... really there is an abundance of headlights for these things.. any from the series 1 through to the defenders should fit. and probelly a **** load of other elderly brit cars which used the lucas lights. e.g the mk 1 escort i think had the same lights

light bulbs are 12V - but if you put them in a mircowave oven, set the timer, they will light up and you can run them off 240V ac - but not for very long.

You can run the microwave off a two stroke genset in the back - scwrewfix are doing some for £50 which will run a 650W microwave.

The 'airtightness' of a land rover means the exhaust gases can escape freely.

oh! i didn't know that... i have a light bulb in my house that has been running on 240 ac for about 18 months now..and if yer auntie had a nob she'd be yer uncle..ac/dc..
question ..why would you want a microwave in yer landy when you can cook perfectly well under the bonnet as you drive along? just don't try cooking a kipper near the heater air intake.

That's right: kippers are best done strapped to the hole in yer silencer. That way you get a nice smoky flavour.

yes thats right and its even better if you are running on old chip fat.mmmmmmm! yummy
once years ago i had a metal plate cut so i could cook onions and the like on the barbie, its worked a treat exceptin that for the first 10 goes or so every thing cooked on it tasted of heating oil..blah!!

oh! yes headlights .. any headlight that is identical you wot you got will fit.

Headlights? Go nuclear. They can light up a whole City & when you turn them off & get out to head for the house you can see the path from the glow from...er, your skin.

Failing that shell out a few quid for a halogen upgrade. Every bugger sells them & they do make a real difference.........Not as good as nuculeaerer tho'.

What Heater? Am i missing something here!!

Series heater = I - Pointless, non existent, forget it, buy yourself an "Irvin". Got one, waaaaaaarm! II - Pointless, ineffectual round thing robbing you of cabin space better used for a woofer. Buy yourself an "Irvin". III - Ineffectual square thing robbing you of engine space better used for a Kipper, if you like the smell of Slob's mechanic's womanly "charms". Buy yourself an "Irvin".

Headlights? Get a halogen conversion. You can see the road & don't have to check out Slob's sloppy seconds.

Jest an opinion you unnerstan',

M.

Slob, stop being tight, buy a barbecue for cooking fer chrissakes! If you just leave things under the bonnet of your Landy they're just going to stink on account of it's STILL not attached to er.......your Landy!

ah ha !! it is !! it now has an engine, gearbox, bulkhead ,80% of the brakes are done, fuel tank is in, and the steering is finished. just the body to bung on really and somepaint thrown at it..oh and some wires to tape together.
