Hi,

I've a County 110 - reg '85.

The chrome on one of my headlight reflectors is flaking off so I thought I'd replace them with a pair of RING RL080 Halogen convertors. I've just received them. I thought it would be a straightforward job - but one point of confusion has arisen. The two replacement headlights are identical in all respects (same lens configuration and markings). I'd assumed that the LHS lens would differ from the RHS lens to produce the beam kick-up that lights up the pavement/road signs etc. Is this not the case?

Thanks

Nope they are the same.
They will both have a kick up on the left as you look out the front of the vehicle, for UK and RH kick for european roads.

I am doing the exact same job as we speak..... just make sure you read the instructions. You should have to twist the headlight unit clockwise to remove. I undid every screw I could see... including the beam adjusters:doh: But only on one.... will fine adjust as best I can when it goes dark.
