don't. So I'm getting ready to head back to the U.S. with Alice, my '85 110, and the headlights quit working. So thinking it might be the switch, I took the steering wheel cover off and they started working again. I decided to go ahead and clean the contacts and everything was looking good. Cover back on? They don't work most of the time and sometimes only one light comes on. Any ideas? I was thinking of ordering a new switch but wanted to find out if anyone could assess and advise. Thanks

I'd be looking at the connection to the switches, as well as the connections to the lights/grounds. Check andclean the relevant fuses and contact springs as well - they can corrode and look fine but not make contact.

This should not be rocket science to trace - the circuit is pretty simple - switch, to dipper (high/low beam), to lights via the fusebox.
