In a word no the p38 is not obd compliant and only dedicated diag will work, the best is Nanocom by blackbox solutions there are a couple more but not as good.
 
While your at it check for damp carpets by the BECM,below the front of the drivers seat.and if you remove the base trim check the plugs for damp and corrosion.
 
Yip have a damp carpet and checked connections all seemed on only the first grey connector was damp so used hair dryer to dry
 
Well you got to cure that leak once you got the lights sorted Is it wet right the way through to the centre console at the front
 
No bout half way across I think maybe drain hole clogged or leak elsewhere

Coolant or water? The aircon drains sometimes pop off under the centre console. Then again, might be rain leaking in. Coolant will be the o-rings on the heater matrix pipes.
 
You will smell it I’ve it’s coolant sweet smell I’ve it is then the work really begins poxy job to fix

As long as your expansion bottle is staying solid on a level and not showing any water loss then it is most likely a poor "pollen-filter" sealing or a leak around the screen or the like.
