hi all, had to change my ns headlight bulb this morning, as i pulled the headlight out one of the the little mounting posts on the headlight broke off.
when i refitted the headlight the damn thing obviously moves around. Has anybody had this happen & if so whats the fix. Thanks snoops:(

What Discovery is it?

My 300Tdi headlight doesn't have posts, it has a position to screw the small white plastic locators in the pic, which then pop onto the posts that are also in the pic, which locate into the holes in the bodywork.

its a 300 tdi but with electric adjustment. the three post locators are on three corners of the headlight & the electric motors locate into them.

Ah right, the corner locators should be the three little white things, they screw on .. ;) Mine has electrical adjustment too .. it didn't when I got it, but I just added it afterwards .. ;)

ah brilliant, at first i thought new headlight but at least this option is cheaper
thanks again paul

Cheers big lad i will try & source some locally, i usually smear a little grease on them but i think with the first frost last night & the age of them i think it was just too much for them this morning.
