Hi,
I'm doing headlight conversion on my 200tdi. The td5 facelift headlights have levelling motors installed and would like them to work. I have the switch from disco td5 which has connections numbered 1-4 and E1,E2 on it's base. According to td5 wiring diagram only three of the connections are used for levelling.
I would very much appreciate if anyone can tell me (or have a look) which are used? The three wires are coloured: Black (earth), Red/Orange (12v supply) and Blue/yellow (to levelling motors).

I think diagram you have posted is for pre-facelift. It shows connections onto terminals 1,2 & 4, adjusting motors outside the headlight units and different value resistors inside switch, compared to my switch.
I have diagram for facelift switch which uses terminals 1,2 & 5 and motors inside headlights, but there isn't a terminal marked 5 on switch? Defender 300tdi & td5 are different again, terminals 2,3 & 4.
Wonder how many different switches/ levelling motors? Still not sure, I'll have to try the different combinations.

Do you need details of where to obtain a switch connector and terminals?
