There is modified breathers for the rear of the light unit. Some have said this cures the misting and some have said it doesn't.
There is an acceptable amount of condensation but if it is running down the inside of the lens then thats too much.

You may have to buy a light unit.

Cheers.

If its the facelift type, I have tried everything, I think, to stop the condensation to no avail....

Have now given up, and looking to fit some other type of headlight instead, just trying to find a flatish type that ain't too deep - have tried the likes of the D3 etc, but they are just too damn big to fit...

I had the same problem about 6 months ago this is what I did and its not misted up since.First of all you have to take the complete headlamp out its really simple then you have to make sure you get ALL of the water that lays in the bottom of the headlamp out, I used a hairdryer then tipped it upside down and left it in a warm place until all the condensation has gone. the next thing I did was to remove the small rubber grommets from the back of the headlight I am not sure but I think these may have been fitted to stop water getting in if you go off road and drive through water,By taking these out I feel that it allows the condensation to escape through the holes as I said that was 6 months ago and I have had no condensation since and we have more rain in the last 6 months than the whole of last year I hope this helps it did for me hope it does for you.I have kept the rubber grommets just in case !!!!

I considered myself as providing a service by moving burnt out wrecks. I would have had the alloys of it but they had locking nuts.
