I replaced the side lamp bulb in my Disco 2 facelift......

Found out that the top bolts were seized.... sheared off :-( but drilled them out and re-tapped them. The bottom plastic locator was split, but I fixed that with araldite. So all good...

Just wondered when re-fitting the unit, the top holes are slotted, so is the bottom... what's the correct position for alignment ? is it just to set them in the center and see what happens ?

I see that the adjusters are on the back of the units, but surely the alignment will be affected by the slotted holes on the mounts ?
