i have a non starting vehicle at the moment and it's doing my head in , it will crank but not fire .
started off last night alarm want off about midnight went out and reset it started the car as well just to make sure it was ok everything was fine , until morning came out to start the car and flat battery doors wont open either only the rear ones ??? i thought .
charged the battery tried again still nothing got the hump about now so called out rac his diagnose was ..
non start cranks fires on easy start
no fuel pump running cdl not working on front doors
air suspension not working
fuel shut off solenoid ok
all fuses and relays all ok
suspect becm ??
thats what the report said , if anyone can come up with something a LOT cheaper or a better idea / explanation or anything really i would be very happy
thanks for looking

It has lost sync more than likely, you need diagnostics to resync the BECM to the ECM.

hi guys
thanks for the info i put that to the rac man last night who in fact was an ex range rover tech who said it was becm take it in to rr to get sorted i said OUCH ...
do you think that there would be a mobile type of person who could do this or do i have to get it to a garage to be done resync the BECM to the ECM.
i was looking at having the BECM re done

many thanks

Faultmate, Nanocom or syncmate will do it if it's loss of sync.

and if it's not ???
would it be worth getting the BECM re programed , it should clear all fault's e c t and back to normal , what ever that is

It doesn't log faults and cannot be re-programmed:) Only some settings can be changed.:):)
