Measure to centre of headlight ,mark line on wall at same height ,switch on dipped beam adjust so top of flat part of beam is about 2/3 inches below line . Better way , dark night on straight quiet country road , roll to stop keeping straight, switch on dip , cover one headlight , adjust so that start of kick up is just at kerb , adjust level so that flat top of beam is just below same level at furthest distinguishable, cover that head light and repeat for other . You get best visbility for you , and dont dazzle, oncoming traffic, and it goes thru MOT . HTSH
